Just jamming on new Michael McDonald CD

Just jamming on Soul Speak Micheal McDonald CD it features one of my favorite Drummers Yvette "Baby Girl" Preyer. I saw these guys in 2005 and danced until I almost dropped they put on a great show and the Drummer is one of the best! Being a drummer my self I am a Pearl Drum Guy but I really loved what Yvette did on the Yamaha set she played on.

Ah the futon is set up

We finally finished assembling the new futon and it is nice. Solid wood even the drawers look nice. We wound up with extra bolts but everything is where it's supposed to be.. Hmmm Ms Kitty seems to like it she's been sleeping on it every night.

Back to Shoveling

Ahhh Just when the deck was cleaned and before we rented the pressure washer, thank god, we get another 8 inches of fresh snow, Boy I wished Dori skied. One good bonus of having a spouse that works at blockbuster is that when we are snowed in there's plenty of movies to watch. Ms. Kitty wanted to go outside but didn't take to the snow that well. Dori is baking a batch of cookies for some soldiers in Iraq, one of them is a friend's of ours son. Now if I can get the cost of mailing a box of cookies half way around the world we'll be set.

Thawing for the spring

In anticipation of spring I am clearing off the deck and getting ready to power wash. We ordered the futon frame today, which is good because the old one about ready to give out LOL. Ms. Kitty (pictured below) Is up to her old tricks she has taken to demanding her water from the trickling bath tub faucet, which is fine during the freezing cold, because we drip it to keep pipes from freezing. But during the warmer temperatures this is not needed and she is not very happy about that.

Flash training continues and I'm getting ready to dive into masking and the "time line" I predict that I will be very busy over this weekend.
More to come.....
